The standard scans for P & F breakouts are often way out of date.
Is the premium service required to breakouts the day they happen (or next day for EOD service)?
In particular, triple-top breakouts.
Thanks

That's always been my problem with the Stockchart P&F chart scans, even with premium service.
They are very good, but require constant monotoring.
The best I have been able to do is to see those triple tops and set buy stops above them.
Here's one from last Saturday which was NOT triggered.
You could set an alarm or place a buy stop above the red line.

You might find this useful to start with. You can write one more detailed to include or exclude any range.
I wrote this very simple scan and find it helpful for a first scan. wink.gif

P&F MSS

• For the last market close:
• United States Stocks with...
• 20-day Simple Moving Average of Volume for today is greater than 40000
• The chart has a P&F Buy Signal pattern for yesterday
• The chart does not have a P&F Buy Signal pattern for 3 days ago
• The chart has a Double Top pattern for yesterday... (you can change this to Triple Top)
